What does it mean for a business to be verified?

At a minimum, BizVerify confirms the online/published email address, physical address and phone number of a member business. Furthermore, business members pay a small annual fee, submit a digital photograph of their place of business and adhere to the BizVerify business member agreement. BizVerify sometimes requires a prospective business member to provide up to 3 customer references before granting membership status.

Can I trust a business that has been verified?

While it is impossible to say with 100 percent certainty that you can trust any website on the internet today consider this; A business that has successfully completed BizVerify's verification process has proved it is a legitimate business with real people that can be contacted if a consumer has a question or complaint. Furthermore, BizVerify monitors member websites to ensure the business continues to meet minimum standards of today's best practices for protecting privacy and providing security.

What makes a website a TRUSTED WEBSITE?

A BizVerify trusted website is owned and operated by a business that has successfully completed BizVerify's verification process. If applicable, the business uses secure e-commerce methods and does not store sensitive consumer information on the web server. Furthermore, the business is monitored to ensure it does not engage in the practice of "spamming" its customers and visitors.

What exactly does conversion mean?
